Ronald L. "Joe" McNeice age 90 from Astor, Florida passed away unexpectedly, July 27, 2025. He was born on July 14, 1935 in Chardon Ohio to Howard (Deceased) and Theora McNeice (Deceased). Survived by his sister Lois Walsh of Chardon, Ohio. Beloved husband of Betty, nee Skiles for 58 years. Loving Step-Father of Michael Sebrasky (Corinne), Thomas Sebrasky (Jennie), Gregory Sebrasky (Deceased), Karen Rhodes (Donald), Edward Sebrasky (Linda), Larry Sebrasky (Teresa, Deceased). Grandfather of 14, Great Grandfather of 17 and Great Great Grandfather of 1. Joe was a Veteran of the United States Army. His passion for racing his Henry J in his younger years earned him many trophies at Thompson Drag Raceway in Thompson, Ohio. He worked for the State of Florida as the Astor Bridge Tendor and a Mechanic in Deland for 24 years and retired in 1997. Joe was known as "The lawnmower guy" and could fix anything. People would come from near and far for Joe to fix their lawnmowers. Fixing the lawnmowers and their engines was his passion. Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of kindness and generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Cremation is being provided by Byers Funeral Home, Astor Florida.
