He was the Ultimate Being. Life is not quite life in his absence. Scores of great people can owe the best parts of themselves to his influence. And I can, too. A Falsatff with focus. A post-Mikulakian world is one we must endure. We can, but fun and knowledge must be forever downsized until we live his example.
