Ronald Wayne Moore, 77, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025 in Tyler, Texas.
Ronald was born July 16, 1948 to Dave and Rosalie Scott Moore.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Perrilyn Bell Thornton Moore. He was also preceded in death by his in laws, Perry Searcy "PS" and Dorothy "Dot" Thornton.
Survivors include children, Kendra and Mat Entrop; Adam and Mandy Moore; Steven Moore; Clint Moore; his adoring grandchildren that called him Papa: Colton and Olivia Chabert; Morgan and Jordan Dunn; Blakeny and Peyton Schutza; Cloe', Caleb, Calli, Canon, Wyatt and Rylin; his great grandchildren that were his world: Liam, Mylo, Knox, Leah, Levi and Parker Jade.
Ronald met the love of his life in Tallulah, Louisiana. They married and raised their family together for 52 years. Ronald learned farming from his father in law and there begin his love for working outdoors that grew into ranching. He supported his kids through FFA helping raise livestock and ignite their passion for rodeo with Kendra barrel racing and Adam roping and bronc riding. He was so invested that he helped secure horses for his grandchildren to compete in rodeo as well. Ronald loved the Lord and raised his family to know and love Him. His strong Christian faith is what led him through the darkest days of his life when he lost his precious Perrilyn. The Bible was always open, he was always reading and praying for everyone. Monday, he received his eternal reward and will leave behind a legacy of faith.
The service for Ronald will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Pruitt Baptist Church with Brother David McNary officiating.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Pruitt Baptist Church or Hospice of East Texas Tyler.
