Ronald R. Orr Sr., 81, of Linesville passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Born September 9, 1943, in Geneva, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Samuel and Ruth (Fox) Orr.
He was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. Ron served our country in the United States Navy. He had a long career at the Molded Fiber Glass Company.
Ron was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7842, the American Legion Post 462 and the Pine Masonic Lodge No. 498 all in Linesville.
He was very family focused and loved spending time with family and friends. Ron will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly, whom he married in 1993; five children, Ronald R. (Mary) Orr Jr. of Cameron Park, California, Jamie Orr-Stockton of McDonald, Rhonda S. (Noel) Berkley of Linesville, Teresa (Tom) Deeter of Colorado and Shelley (Donnie) Moore of Illinois; 13 grandchildren, Ronald (Brittney), Shentell, Andrew (Katie), Nickolas (Julia), Adam, Payton, Nathan, Taunya, Matt, Tiffany, Tosha, Luke and Dillion; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Noreen and Patricia; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Gail Murfin; brother, William; and sister, Jean.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 10 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Royal-Coleman Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville.
The funeral will follow at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 10 at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Full military honors will follow.
Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.
