Ronald B. Overby, Jr., 59, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, January, 25, 2026 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 11:00AM, Monday February 2, 2026, in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd Columbus, GA, 31907. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Bruce was born January 27, 1966 in Columbus, GA to Shelby F. and Ronald Overby, Sr. He worked hard as a machinist for many local industries. In his later years he founded a new passion in splitting wood.
He is predeceased by his mother, Shelby F. Overby.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christina Overby, son, Kyle Overby, daughter, Kaytie Meador, father, Ronnie Overby, brother, Micheal Overby (Emily), grandchildren, Huner, Mason, Carter, Camden, Ansley, and nephew Matthew Overby.
