Ronald Buell Parris

Ronald B. Parris, born February 15, 1944, in Albertville, AL, passed away at home Wednesday, December 4, 2013. He received his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Auburn University in 1967 and retired from ALCOA (1994) with 27 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Dessie Parris; sister, Melba Avera and brother-in-law, Ed Avera. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons, Wes Parris and Kent (Julie) Parris; two grandsons, Austin Parris and Trace Parris all of Maryville; sister, Donna (Keith) Miller of Saraland, AL; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Turner officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Middlesettlements Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Judes or Alzheimer’s Association.
