Ronald Paul Porterfield

I am saddened to see this news of one of my favorite teachers, Ron Porterfield. I was in his second 6th grade class at Felida after it opened. I had the pleasure of being taught by him for two years due to 5th and 6th grades being in the same pod of rooms. When we started there wasn´t even any carpet or flooring down yet. I remember the births of his children and how much he loved his family. Most of all I will remember that wonderfully big smile and those glimmering eyes.
Rest in Power, Mr Porterfield. Thank you for all you taught me.

Mr. Porterfield was one of my teachers at Felida, years ago. I remember him being so kind and friendly with his students. He was one of those teachers that students remember fondly for making an impact.
