Ronald E. Reynolds 72, of Murphy, formerly of Oxford and Conyers, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 in a Tennessee hospital.

He was born on March 4, 1953 in Lakeland, Florida. Ronald retired from Dekalb County Data Center as a program analyst writer; he volunteered with Rockdale County Sheriff's Department and worked part time with Stone Mountain Memorial Association as an officer until recently.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a son, Bryan Wesley Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Crawford Reynolds; his son James R. Reynolds and wife, Brandi of Mt. Arie, Georgia; his daughters Linda Cliett and husband, Jack of Willacoochee, Georgia, Katie LaVorgne and husband, Bob of Brooksville, Florida, Terri Jones and husband, Mel of Camilla, Georgia; his brothers, Jack W. Reynolds and wife, Sheila of Centennial, Colorado and Douglas Reynolds of Loganville, Georgia; sisters-in-law, Karla Driver of Hayesville, North Carolina, Bonnie Marshall and husband, Dan of Conyers, Georgia; nieces; nephews; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Shae, Randy, Jay T, Shaun, Will and Amanda; and six great-grandchildren, Greyson, Laegan, Marshall, Jay Jr., Max and Leiah.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Conyers, Georgia.
