This is a bit late November 20, 2022! Yesterday I was in Vernon Ct and someone was playing beautiful accordion music outside in the cold weather and it touched me. Brought back memories of Ronnie Richadello.
It made me want to look him up and that brought me here.
I too was born in North Adams, Ma. went to a prom with him. Also went with his parents to see him play at Carnegie Hall in New York City. It was a big deal. He was a young and rising star. He was always polite and a grown-up in his teenage age years when I knew him.
I am so sorry to hear about his passing.
That beautiful music reminded me of him.
Love and prayers to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ron's family during this difficult time. He was my accordion teacher while I was in high school and can remember playing in his all accordion band with him as director. I still have his "vinyl record" he recorded. Thinking of you all.

Very sad to read about Ronnie..........we spent a great deal of time with him during our "music" lives back in the sixties/seventies. Condolences to his family.
