Ronald "Ron" Aaron Beach, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 29, 2026, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. He was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice.

Ronald "Ron" was born October 10, 1942, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Aaron Waldemar Beach and Louise Hackman Beach.

Ron served in the United States Navy.

"If you are reading this, it means I have gone on another of my voyages. Please don’t be sad or unhappy and say or ask yourself, “Why?” It is a natural voyage that we all must take in this journey of life.

I would much rather you look to the good side of things and say, “Hey, while he was alive, he lived!” I don’t want to beat my own drum, but I always tried to get the most out of life. Although sometimes I really screwed up, at least I was giving it my all. For me, a life without adventure would have been no life at all.

I saw an awful lot of this world – both the good and the bad – but I remember only the beautiful! Even the Vietnam War had its good times through the close friendships made under the worst conditions. The bad times there helped to shape my resolve to enjoy the remainder of my life and to accomplish my own goals and not those that other people thought important.

A sunrise at sea on my own boat or a sunset at anchor in a calm bay? It’s hard to choose which is the most beautiful! From a childhood in the mountains, to a career at sea, to retirement filled with sailing small boats, I’ve loved it all. I’ve been blessed with a supporting family and made some of the best friends in the world! I cherish them all.

Now, I am on another voyage, and I can only pray for the same great adventures I’ve had on the others. Bon voyage, Ron."

Ron is survived by his nephews, Ron (Katrina) Fisher of Idaho Falls and Jerry Fisher of Thornton, ID; sister, Janet Louise (James D.) Fisher of Rigby, ID; nephews, Jim (Pam) Fisher of Rigby, ID and Lane Fisher of Idaho Falls; nieces, Kathy (Bud) Robinson of Idaho Falls and April (Fred) Cantafio of Rigby, ID.

He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Waldemar Beach; mother, Louise Bruha; sister, Larita Barnson; and nephew, Lance Fisher.

Private family services will be held.
