Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Branch, age 76, who passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta. Mr. Branch was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. He was retired from Lewis Brother’s Manufacturing and a former Appling County Sheriff’s Deputy. Mr. Branch loved to farm and was a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church.
Mr. Branch is preceded in death by a daughter, Ronnie Lanell Branch; his parents Lemuel and Virdia Higgins Branch; daughter in law, Jessie “Jess” Branch, and a brother, Rembert “Peanut” Branch.
Surviving are his two children, Waylon Branch and Lindsey Beach (Mark); three grandchildren Grayson Branch, Elizabeth Branch, and A.T. Beach; and two siblings, Charlie Branch (Sue), and Sally Godfrey (Jimmy).
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. from Friendship Congregational Christian Church with Reverend Rick Brown and Reverend Thomas Lawrence officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Friendship Congregational Christian Church.
Active Pallbearers are Grayson Branch, James Hayes, Logan Atkins, Mark Atkins, Jerry Branch, and Robert Garcia.
Honorary Pallbearers are employees of Lewis Brother’s Manufacturing.
