Ronald Rosebrough Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Memorial Plan Westchester Funeral Home on Mar. 27, 2025.
Ronald Owen Rosebrough, born Jan. 13, 1945 in Birmingham, Alabama, died Mar. 23, 2025 in Pembroke Pines, FL. He was 82 years old.
Ron was born in Alabama, where his parents were also born. His parents moved to Miami, FL, at the end of WWII when he was two years old. His father was in the merchant marines during the war and really liked Miami when he visited, so he moved his family down and started a dry cleaning business. Ron went to Miami Edison Senior High School, Miami-Dade Community College, and graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1966. After college, he served in the Air Force, stationed in Orlando, for two years. He began his career working in sales after his mother, Nova, and he sold the dry cleaning business. He met his future bride, Gloria Castro-Pat, at a party at his best friend, George's apartment in 1969. They met, fell in love & married in May 1970. Ron is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Gloria Rosebrough, his children, Wendy Rosebrough-Alonso (Robert Alonso), Ronald K. Rosebrough (Alexandra Andre), and his 4 grandchildren, Emma & R. Owen Alonso, and Ronnie &
Aurora Rosebrough.
He will be remembered as an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. His memory will live in our hearts forever. He will never be forgotten. He was one in a million.
