Ronald Dean Rye, 62, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, April 7, 2025. Born December 14, 1962, in Clarksville, Tennessee, Ronnie was known for his easy-going and fun-loving spirit. He was the son of the late Robert Lee Rye and Daisy Belle Williams Rye.
Ronnie had a commendable career as an auto mechanic, recognized for his skill and dedication. He spent many years working at Goodyear and was currently employed at Firestone, where he continued to exemplify excellence in his craft.
He had a passion for action movies and was a devoted lover of Hershey's chocolate, often sharing his treats with family and friends. Ronnie was a steadfast presence in the lives of his loved ones, and his memory will be cherished.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Rye and a grandson Andrew Mobley.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved children, Amanda (Jerry) Mobley, Brandon Rye, and Brianna Rye. He is also survived by his brothers, Cecil, Donnie, and Robert (Patricia) Rye; his sisters, Nancy (Bob) Sorrell and Frances Roberts; and Brandon & Brianna's mother, Patricia Holly & Amanda's mother, Lisa Moak Cowell. . Ronnie took great pride in his role as a grandfather, leaving behind grandchildren Sara, Gracie, Isaac, and Brady, who will carry his legacy forward. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The visitation for Ronnie will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Alexander Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 584 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066.
