Ronald Sauce Obituary
Bonita Springs - Ronald F. Sauce, Sr., 72, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at North Collier Hospital. Formerly of Columbus, OH, he had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2009. Ron was born February 29, 1948, in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Norman C. and Catherine E. (O'Connor) Sauce.
His career was spent in the automotive industry, retiring as sales manager of a car dealership. He was currently working as a Privacy Officer at Florencia at the Colony in Bonita Springs. He loved his job and the people that live and work there.
He was an avid golfer who also enjoyed boating and fishing. He also enjoyed singing karaoke with great friends. Ron cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Each one of them has memories of their "Papa Days" when he would spend special time with each of them, usually doing something outside in nature.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia L. (Scott) Sauce; loving daughter, Shelly Olsen of Bonita Springs, FL; daughter-in-law, Anna Sauce of Columbus, OH; brother, Norman C. Sauce, Jr. of Bonita Springs, FL; sisters, Maryann Mook of Youngstown, OH and Tina (David) Zitello of Columbus, OH; cherished grandchildren, Nikki (Mike) Hagmann, Erik Olsen, Katie Sauce, and Coryn Sauce; and adored great-grandson, Mikey Hagmann; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Ronald F. Sauce, Jr.
A celebration of life service is being planned and will be announced. In place of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
