SELLEY, Ronald Dean - Age 66, of Swartz Creek, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024. A celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.
Ron was born June 30, 1958 in Flint, the son of Royal Alvin, Jr. and Joan Inez (Cosi) Selley. He was a 1976 graduate of Bentley High School. He had resided in Swartz Creek since 1989 coming from Flint. Ron retired in 2019 from Flint GM V-8 Engine Plant after 42 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local #599. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, reading, golfing, exercising and watching sports.
Surviving are: his sons, Bryan Selley (Nicole Poblano) of St. Clair Shores and Matthew (Brooke) Selley of Lennon; grandchildren, Braxton and Ruby; brothers, Rick (Denise) Selley of Fenton and Rob (Marcia) Selley of Grand Blanc; former wife and friend, Kay Selley of Warren; several nieces and nephews; and his four legged companion, Jimms.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Joan Selley; and brother, Randy Selley. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
