Ronald W. Surplus Sr.

Ronald Warren Surplus Sr., 75, of Great Bend, PA and formerly of Moosic, PA entered into rest peacefully on July 6, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie; also by two sons, Ronald (Peggy) Surplus Jr., and Michael (Lucinda) Surplus; 12grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Lemuel and Ruth Surplus; all six of his siblings; and a son Robert Surplus.
Ronald began his career building silos and worked on a farm. He had various other careers including painting, maintenance, and carpentry. Ron was an avid fisherman and hunter. His favorite past time was being in the woods with his sons. Ron enjoyed the Flea Market and cookouts with his family. Ron's decisiveness, bright blue eyes, and smile will be missed.
At his request, there will be no public services. The family will hold a private Celebration of His Life.
