Dave Gagnon
September 7, 2025
Marghe, Brenda and I are so sorry for your loss. Please know that the Ron touched many lives he will always be remembered in the best way. Ron was a mentor to me when I started at 3M. I'll always be grateful for his tutelage. I'll also miss our trips to the casino to make our donation to the reservation, the fishing trips to Eagle Lake, and the occasional times I joined ice fishing outings! I appreciated Ron's leadership in orgainizeing these trips! Ron will be greatly missed, not only by Brenda and I, but also by many others.
All the best,
Dave & Brenda Gagnon

Marghe,
I had the distinct privilege of learning with Ron through many years in the fellowship of our reading group. I always looked forward to Ron's keen and original insights. The joy of his wry wit and generous smile will be sorely missed. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ron through our mutual involvement with OLLI. I organize a course called "Books for People too Busy to Read" and Ron generously agreed to do guest lectures for me on several occasions. He was my `STEM´ guy and his presentations were always first rate. His interests were diverse and I always enjoyed his wry sense of humor. Peace be with Ron and his family. Jim Martin.

I'm shocked and saddened by learning that Ron Tabar died recently. I just saw him at an OLLI theater and dinner event a few weeks ago. He and Marghe put in endless hours organizing and preparing events for the OLLI community....and they always come early to greet each of us as we arrive at a venue. May his memory be a blessing.

I was in two book clubs with Ron and always looked forward to his insight and humor. His comments and jokes made even the densest tome fun for discussion. Ron, you will be missed by all who were privileged enough to get to know you. RIP my friend.
