Ronald Gene Theobold, 80, of Palmyra, Virginia, passed away on August 10, 2023.
Ronald was born in Ohio on November 12, 1942, to Mr. & Mrs. Shirley W. Theobold. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Maxine V. Theobold (Wife) in July 2002 and Pamela Y. Theobold (Wife) in May 2017. He is survived by his children, Michael A. Theobold , Rebekah A. Hicks, (Sam), Jonah E. Theobold (Daysi), Rachelle A. Theobold (Mike), Inanna L. Theobold, and Tatiana L. Theobold; His Grandchildren, Joe Theobold, Daniel Theobold, Sean Theobold, Brooke Tapscott, Brett Haislip, Eric Theobold, & Emely Theobold; His Great Grandchildren Jolene Theobold, Mason Theobold, Hayes Tapscott, Hutton Tapscott, Nikola Theobold, Baby Haislip soon to be, as well as his three brothers and two sisters.
Ronnie was a carpenter/electrician by trade. He loved gardening, herbs, and nature. He spent many hours reading and watching documentaries. He LOVED his family with his whole heart, and we were his inspiration for his long battle with Multiple Myeloma. Dad's favorite movie was "What about Bob" and he constantly reminded us to take baby steps. His Personal quote for life by RGT: "Experience can only be experienced by an experiencer"
He is in the care of Sheridan Funeral Home.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
