He was born September 29, 1950 in Pensacola, FL to parents, Elon F. Vaughan and Ruby Grace Vaughan.
Ronald joined the United States Army at the age of 16, earning the title Sergeant with the 11th armored Calvery Regiment.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elon F. Vaughan and Ruby Grace Vaughan; twin brother, Donald Ray Vaughan; sisters, Vivian E. Robbins and Barbra Ann Cotton.
Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald Elon Vaughan; sisters, Rita Maria Rose Fischler and Constance Kay "Connie" Floyd; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
