Ronald Wells Obituary

Ronald A. Wells Sr. (70), a lifelong resident of Milford, NH passed away at home Monday, September 13, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Goffstown on April 2, 1951.

Ron leaves behind his wife, Bonnie of 50 years, his daughter Amanda, her husband Dan and their 3 daughters, Raven, Annalisa and Emma, a son Michael, brothers Charles, Lawrence, Joel, Maurice, Carle, his sister Shirley and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was predeceased by his sons Ronald and Joshua, his parents Elmer and Elsie, his sister Carolyn, his nephew Jimmy, and his brothers Richard and John.

Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He especially loved walking in the woods in Wilton in an area he called "The Lodge." He found peace in the woods and in nature. He worked for more than 20 years at Hendrix Wire & Cable as a cable operator. Ron entered the military at the age of 17 and completed two tours in Vietnam with the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army. He was awarded various medals and commendations before returning home. Upon his return to Milford, Ron became a Jehovah's Witness and attended services at the Wilton Kingdom Hall.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, NH. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please go to www.smith-heald.com
