Ron was a champion for town and country ministry and it was an honor to share that journey for many years. His writing, his voice and his witness were dearly appreciated. Vera, you too, were on this journey. May God bless and keep you and your family. We pray that today's service will honor Ron's long and faithful life and ministry. Jack and Marilyn Gregory.

I have many good memories of Ron from visiting my aunt Laura and uncle Melvin during summer vacations. Ron took me on several exclusions to meet his friends. It´s so sorry for his passing. My condolences to all of his family. Ron was a fun, loving guy and I know you will all miss him very much. God bless you all!

I knew this day would come, but I am still saddened. Ron was a good friend. We served together for several years of the board of the Bishop's Round-Up Against Hunger. Ron was on-site every year for the annual event documenting all the gifts received that day and through out the year. He was a great encouragement to me when I decided to join the ranks of the UMC as a local pastor. Vera, know that we have thought of you many times since our direct paths have stop crossing.
The logo attached was the original logo of the Bishop's Round-Up. The name was changed from for hunger to against hunger. :)
