Ronald Williams

Ronald Williams, age 91, passed away on Feb 18, 2026, in Spring Hill, Florida where he

lived with his late wife, Alma, since 1997. Originally from New York City, he spent his

professional life working in the retail industry as the Northeast regional manager for the

Caldor Corporation, a former department store chain that operated in the tri-state area of

New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

He devoted many years of his early adult life to coaching young boys in sports, in Harlem,

New York, where he encouraged those youngsters of the neighborhood to strive towards

the goal of excellence in every aspect of their lives. He later received a lifetime Outstanding

Leadership Award for his eNorts. Always a supporter of youth, he extended that interest to

many younger people in his family, as well as to those in the wider community with whom

he came in contact.

In his local Florida area, he became involved in the Homeowners Association as president,

where he oversaw daily operations in the community, guided board meetings and enforced

governing documents.

He is survived by his daughter Vikki, her husband Khary, their son Brice, two stepsons

Calvin and Elmore, as well as a host of other loving grandchildren. He will be sorely missed.
