Ronald William Wright, 61, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Chatham Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Guilford County to Fred Flinchum and the late Virginia Dare Pugh Flinchum. Ronald was married to Maria Leticia Castillo Guevara and they had been together for over 16 years.
He was employed by Allen Harim Farms. Ronald loved dancing, beach trips, playing pool and was an avid fan of Budweiser. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; son, William Wright and grandson, Samuel Wright; son, Alejandro Padron Castillo and fiancé, Heather Renee Law and grandchildren, Alexander Lee Padron, Lillian Annette Padron and Kenzie Renee Padron; daughter, Sanjuana Padron Castillo and husband, Fabian Nieto Vera and granddaughter, Maria Concepcion Nieto Padron and fiancé, Marquez Headen and great grandchildren, Hazel Vernice Headen and Heidi Marie Headen; granddaughter, Anahi Nieto Padron and great granddaughter, Kaylani Zadie Nieto-Walden; grandchildren, Alexandra Nieto Padron, Luis Fabian Nieto Padron and Ian Gael Nieto Padron; daughter, Sarahi Padron Castillo and husband, Blake Anthony Dembowski and grandchildren, Blake Anthony Dembowski and Beatriz Adriana Dembowski; daughter, Marissa Castillo Waugh and husband, Cody Justin Waugh; David White and Wendy Holt White who were just like siblings. He was preceded in death by his mother, brother, Calvin Douglas “Doug” Kime, and adopted parents, J. Rankin Wright and Roxie Flinchum Wright.
