RONALD MARTIN YATES, JR.

(ALSO KNOWN AS "RON" OR "RONNIE")

NOVEMBER 10, 1946 – JUNE 23, 2025

Ronald Martin Yates, Jr. was born to the late Ronald Martin Yates, Sr. and Doris Lee Scott on November 10, 1946. He departed his life on June 23, 2025, at his home in Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Ronald was a longtime resident of Trenton, New Jersey, prior to moving to Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Ronald served his Country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp. He spent a four-year tour in Spain.

He was employed with Wells Fargo Security in Princeton, New Jersey and retired from the State of New Jersey.

Ronald loved playing Pinochle with his family. People were saying in the tuxedo Club that he was the best mixologist! He was a comedian and laughed at his own jokes.

Ronald was predeceased by his mother, Doris Lee Scott, his father, Ronald Martin, Yates Sr., paternal grandparents, Luther Martin Yates and Rose Yates, maternal grandparents Williams and Mattie Scott, a devoted uncle, Daniel Jerome Yates. Five brothers, Michael Eugene Yates, Richard and Robert Driver, Reginald Driver and Kirby McRae, one sister, Donna Renee Driver and a special cousin, Garnett Davis.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his stepmother, Marilyn Yates, Princeton, New Jersey; brothers, Marc Kyle Yates, Plainsboro, New Jersey; William Driver, Trenton, New Jersey; Mark Driver, Princeton; Sisters: Darleen Driver, Bethel Connecticut; Doris Driver, Los Angeles, California; Lisa Yates-Johnson (John), Washington, DC; Rhonna Livingston (Nathan), Longs, South Carolina; India Enoch (Curtis), Trenton, New Jersey; Bettina Lopez (Andre), Hamilton, New Jersey; Paige Walden, District Heights, Maryland; Judith Felix, Princeton, New Jersey; Sisters in-law Patty Yates, Princeton, New Jersey and Phyllis Driver, Willingboro, New Jersey. Cousins (brother figures) Daniel Jerome Yates, Sr., Martin Yates and Stanley Yates. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Over 8 years ago I worked with Ron as his real estate agent to sell his home. He was a great guy and I´m so sorry to learn of his passing. I wish for him to finally rest in peace.
