Ronnie Armour Obituary
Ronnie was born in Buckhead, Georgia on September 9, 1948, to the late James Richard Armour and Alberta Conner Armour. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy in 1971 and started working for Overstreet's Pharmacy shortly after graduation; he owned and operated it from 1979 until its closing in 1997. He also worked at Walmart Pharmacy until he fully retired. He was an avid golfer and pool shark. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers and sister James Armour, Larry Armour and Elizabeth Armour and a son Darryl Griffin. Ronnie was a member of Friendship Baptist Church on Lake Sinclair.
Survivors include his wife Arlene S. Armour of Milledgeville, his children, Ronnie G. "Ron" Armour, Jr., (Andrew) of Chicago, IL, Nicole Lowery (Brad), Rhett Roberts, Dean Griffin (Denise) and Virginia "Ginger" Eady all of Milledgeville, grandchildren Brandon, Callie, Nora, Cody, Rayleigh, Rylan, Hunter, Jessi, Kaydee, Will and Ben, great grandchildren Avery, Raelyn, Keilly and Kynlee.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.
Moores Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of arrangements.

So sorry to hear of Ronnie Armour passing. He was my first cousin. I did not know about it until recently. I have not seen Ronnie since his Mother`s funeral. I live in North Georgia, so we did not get to see each other often. During our childhood we saw each other more often. All of my family has passed away except for my Brother`s wife (Donna Ellis, of Gainesville, Ga.) and one other first cousin (Jo A. Murphy, of Macon, Ga.) Again To Ronnie`s Family, I am so very sorry. I am so sad to hear this news. Ronnie hired me at Overstreet when I moved to Milledgeville and his sweet wife cared for my daughter Lauren until she started Pre-K. He was such a kind mind and was adored by so many. RIP
