Mr. Ronnie E. Bunch March 15, 1954 - December 5, 2025
Ronnie E. Bunch age 71 of New Tazewell passed away December 5, 2025, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born March 15, 1954, in Oliver Springs, TN to Coy and Lillian Bunch who precede him in death. Ronnie was a Deacon, Church Clerk and Song Leader at Walnut Hill Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. Ronnie retired from Lance, Inc after 25 years.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Coy and Lillian Bunch, brother Gary Bunch, sisters Sandra Daniels and Mary Ogan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Libby Bunch, sons Paul Bunch and wife Melody, and B.J. Bunch and wife Amy, daughter Vanessa Johnson and husband Paul. Grandchildren: Anabel Bunch, Levi Bunch, Josie Montgomery, Ava Bunch, Braden Johnson and Ethan Johnson. Brothers: Eddie Bunch and wife Teresa, Jackie Bunch and wife Bronwyn, Kenneth Bunch and wife Demerius, Timmy Bunch and wife Lora and Marvin Bunch. Sisters: Betty Watt and husband Robbie and Pat Vanzant. Brothers -in-law Kim Collingsworth and wife Missy, Johnny Collingsworth and wife Sylvia, sisters-in-law Jane Elkins, George Ann Prater and husband Tim and Robin Beeler and husband Mike. Several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday December 8, 2025, from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at the Claiborne ~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00pm with the Rev. Jim Blevins and the Rev. Kim Collingsworth Officiating. Burial will follow Tuesday December 9, 2025, at 11:00am in the Liberty Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Ricky Hopkins, Randy Vanzant, Brent Collingsworth, Jacob Collingsworth, Paul Bunch, B.J. Bunch and Vanessa Johnson.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Wheeler, Jim Sumpter, Verlin Hunter, Maynard Brooks and Gary Cardwell.
