Ronnie Fincher Obituary

Ronnie Fincher passed away surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love. Ronnie lived every day to the fullest, the kind of man who was always ready for the next adventure. He had a heart as big as his smile and a spirit that couldn't be tamed. Whether he was behind the wheel on a backroad drive, sitting in the woods waiting for a deer, or spending his weekends at the dirt track, Ronnie loved the thrill of the moment and the peace of being outdoors.
He had a gift for finding joy in the little things. A good conversation, a day spent with family and friends or a simple drive just to see where the road would lead. Ronnie never met a stranger, and everyone who crossed his path knew they were met with kindness, humor, and a story or two that could make anyone laugh. He was the kind of friend who'd drop everything to lend a hand, and the kind of family man whose love could be felt in every word and every gesture.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Inez and Richard Beecham, Tom Fincher, and Jewel Cleveland; his parents, Ima Jean and Johnny Fincher; and his brother, Rickey Fincher.
He is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Fincher; his sister, Teresa Fincher; his daughter, Emily Lankford (Josh); and his stepchildren, Lacy and BJ. Ronnie was a proud grandfather to Grayden, Graham, Harlan, Jacie, and Corey, and a proud great-grandfather to several great grandchildren he thought the world of. He also leaves behind his niece, Lakisha Walker (Brody), and nephews, Ashtyn and Silas Bryant, along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Ronnie's life was full of adventure, laughter, and love and while he will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to live on through the stories, smiles, and hearts of those who knew and loved him
A Memorial Service will be held in memory of Mr. Fincher on November 15, 2025 at 1pm at First Baptist Church of White Plains. The family will accept friends and family from 12pm for visitation until service time.
