Mr. Ronnie Lambert, age 77, of Unionville, TN, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 3, 2025. He was a native of Murfreesboro, TN and a son of the late Milton Evander Lambert and Mattie Bertha Brannon Lambert. Ronnie was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Lewis Bakery after many years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Sandra Bowlby, and brothers, Jimmy Lawrence Lambert and Kelly Freeman Lambert.
Ronnie loved the Lord, working at his church, and participating in activities there. He had a passion for landscaping and mowing his lawn and gardening. He loved to eat his favorite ice cream. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and being involved with them.
Mr. Lambert is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Peggy Lambert of Unionville, TN; children, Annette (Tim) Compton of Unionville, TN, Lori (David) Boyce of Shelbyville, TN, Dawn (Shane) Hobbs of Shelbyville, TN, Shawn Rueff of Shelbyville, TN, Charles Lambert of Shelbyville, TN, Hilary (Steven) Yates of Chapel Hill, TN, Amanda (Chad) Gilliam of Chapel Hill, TN, Kelsey (Levi) Smotherman of Rockvale, TN; 19 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; twin brother, Donnie (Brenda) Lambert of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Ann (William Clarence) Cooper of Unionville, TN.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 PM – 8 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockvale, TN.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Layne Lewis and Derrick Manning will serve as honorary pallbearers.
