RONNIE “HITMAN” LAWRENCE
DOTHAN… Ronnie “Hitman” Lawrence, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 29, 2025. He was 67.
A memorial gathering will be held 3:30 until 5:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 01, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. A eulogy will be given by his brother, Mark Lawrence. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Ronnie was born in Weiersbach, Germany, to Klara Mades and the late Royce Glen Lawrence. In his earlier years he lived his life motto as; live to ride, ride to live. As his hair grayed, and his wisdom grew his priorities shifted. His love for children and grandchildren never wavered. He was the epitome of tough love and an honest opinion. Ronnie was genuinely the salt of the earth.
Ronnie worked for many years as a dedicated employee at Canvas Products of Dothan. He not only designed and installed awnings all over the country, but he also established and maintained relationships with everyone he crossed paths with.
Hitman was a charter member of the Southeast Alabama Black Pistons M.C. He remained passionate about motorcycles throughout his entire life. He formed deep bonds within the motorcycle community where he was well-respected.
In addition to his dad, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Lawrence and Todd Lawrence.
Leaving to cherish his memories is his daughter, Maegon Smith (Trent); his son, Chase Lawrence (Alicia Young); his life partner, Christy Henry; his children, Amanda Tate ( Michael) and Ashley Fuller; his mother, Klara Mades; his brothers, Bobby Lawrence (Carla), Mark Lawrence (Rose), and Peter Lawrence (Monica); his grandchildren, Kinden, Griggs and Layla “Bug”; the mother of his children, Camille Lawrence; and several other loving family members and friends.
