The Obituary

Ronnie Mostella was born on June 12, 1954, in St Clair County, Alabama. Ronnie departed his life on November 12, 2025. He received his education in the Ashville School system. He worked many jobs in Ashville water board, Springville cabinet shop, concrete work, fixing cars, Liberty Trousers and Dixie McClean Power.

He confesses to Christ at an early age and joined the Overcoming Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening and planting flowers and trees. He loved and enjoyed people, racing and building motors.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents Dub Mostella and Clara Bell Bothwell; Brother Charlie, Benny, Reginal Mostella and a very special angel Rossetta Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife of 43 Years Glenda Johnson Mostella; Daughters Lakiria Chennelle (Byron) Mostella, Chasity (Arlene) Mostella; Sons Lawrence Vandergrift, Patrick (Eric) Vandergrift, Eric Vandergrift; Sisters Virginia (Sam) Blunt, Linda (Anthony) Mostella; Aunts Coy Lee(Frank) Bothwell, Ella Wallace Bothwell; In laws Philip (Janice) Johnson, Eddie(Gloria) Johnson, Gladys (Lamar) Callahan, Leonard (Rosemary) Johnson, Floretta (James) Johnson, Jaqueline and Eric Woody, Florence (Leon) Bothwell, and Norris Johnson; Special Friends Norman (Debbie) Montgomery, Peggy Frazier, Lonnie (Arline) Bothwell, Philip Bothwell, Leon Bothwell, Quin Scooter Bothwell, Riac Williams, Clarence Bothwell, Leon Bozeman and Joel Echols and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and many dear friends.

Celebration of Life will be 12:00 noon Saturday, November 22, 2025 Overcoming Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Bishop Clinton Carr Eulogist; Bishop Charles Williams Pastor. Burial Ashville Cemetery.

Public Viewing will be 12 noon- 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 21, 2025 in the Chapel
