Ronald L. “Ronnie” Rogers, Jr., age 60 of Chillicothe, Ohio and formerly of Georgetown, Ohio passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio following a brief illness. He was born October 21. 1965 only son of the late Ronald L. Rogers, Sr. and Beverly (Richardson) Flatt.
Ronnie was a remarkable individual who profoundly touched the lives of many. He dedicated significant time and effort to the care of rescue horses at Triple B Ranch Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation, a farm he shared with his companion for 14 years. In addition to his passion for animals, Ronnie served his community as a volunteer firefighter and enjoyed the outdoors through hunting. He exemplified values of honesty and hard work, encouraging those around him to pursue their goals diligently. Ronnie was dearly loved and will be remembered fondly by all whose lives he impacted. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister – Kimberly Sue (Rogers) Haffer in 2021.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his companion – Christina “Chris” Bennett; two children – Darren Rogers and wife Katrina and Nicole Rogers all of Goshen, Ohio; six grandchildren – Nolan, Payton and Waylon Rogers, Aaron Henry, Stormie Field and Shauna Field; five grandchildren whom he raised – Shayla, Shiann, Hailee, Kaylee and Dominick Stewart; four sisters – Tonya Rogers and Jr. Penny of Hamersville, Ohio, Tina (Rogers) Cummins and wife Rhonda of Florida, Penny (Rogers) Hitt and husband Ron of Clermont County, Ohio and Lisa (Rogers) Whisman and husband Rob of Aberdeen, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Ken Wells will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
