Funeral Services for Ronnie Ray Sutton, Jr; Thursday, April 2, 2026, Public Visitation (closed casket) 3pm-6pm Messenger Payson Funeral Home, 901 S Westerly Rd, Payson, AZ in Main Chapel. This allows private time for those friends or family who want to say goodbye, sit alone, or are unable to attend the funeral the following day. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11:00am at Messenger Payson Funeral Home, Main Chapel with the Funeral Procession following out to the Graveside Service immediately following at 12:20pm, Mountain Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery, 355 W Round Valley Rd, Payson, AZ.

I know a lot of friends have already heard about Ronnie's death. His passing has been totally devastating to the kids and I. Definitely the most unexpected and tragic thing we could've ever imagined. We are still in shock. True shock. I wanted everyone to know how important each of you were to him. Everyone had their own special connection with him. Ronnie was an extraordinary man. There aren't words to describe how amazing he was in each role of his life. The kids and I are taking one moment at a time to process what's happening. We don't understand and it's been difficult trying to reason with the Lord as to why this has happened. He had a family history of heart attacks including his father and uncle who both passed at a young age. Ronnie turned 44 last Friday. He died in his sleep with no other explanation than a heart attack. There is an autopsy being done since his death was so unexpected with no past medical history.

With heavy hearts we ask you to join us at Messengers Payson Funeral Home to celebrate Ronnie's life and pay our respect to him as we say goodbye. Ronnie was an extraordinary man in every aspect of his life. His death was unexpected and quite devastating to those he left behind including his wife Cristin Sutton, son's Jacob Sutton and Lucas Kimball, and his only daughter Bailey Rae Sutton. He also has a mother Sharon Sutton, a brother Micheal Sutton, and 2 sisters Rhonda Sutton and Summer Hanes. He was proceeded in death by his father Ron Sutton Sr and Brother Larry Sutton who he has joined with in Heaven to watch over us all. He has other family members that love him also and many, many friends that Ronnie considered as family. He will be in our hearts forever.
