Ronnie Terrell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by St. John's Family Funeral Home & Crematory on Feb. 6, 2026.
Ronnie Edward Terrell, 74, of Hastings, passed away on January 31, 2026, at UF Health Flagler after a brief illness.

Ronnie was born on July 16, 1951, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Willard Terrell and Ruby Baker. He moved to St. Augustine at the age of 12 and had been a resident of the area for the past 62 years.

A hard worker throughout his life, Ronnie was employed as a carpenter with A.D. Davis Construction until his retirement. Known for his lively spirit, Ronnie loved to have a good time and was often the life of the party. He enjoyed fishing and playing guitar, but above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Diane Terrell; two grandsons, Carlos and Brian Tavarez; and several siblings.

Ronnie is survived by his four beloved daughters: Debbra Terrell of Hastings; Tracy Roberts (Robbie) of Elkton; Tamie Edwards (Dale) of St. Augustine; and Veronica Terrell (Jesse) of Ft. Stewart. He is also survived by his siblings: MaryJane Sanchez; Tommy Terrell (Denise) of St. Augustine; Monte Terrell (Carol); Theressa Hall; Willard Terrell Jr.; William Terrell (Michelle); and O'Neall Terrell, all of Alabama.

He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Christopher, Brittany, Wesley, Wyatt, McKenzie, Jesse, Jaden, Macey, Jaden, Cajun, and Kaleigh; nine great-grandchildren; his girlfriend, Katie Ferrand of St. Augustine; his stepfather, Ron Colomon; and his two beloved fur babies.

Ronnie will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of music and fishing, and the joy he brought to everyone around him.

A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home, with Dr. Clarence Blalock officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
