Ronnie White, 60, of Viola, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Salem, Arkansas. He was born on September 15, 1965, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, the son of Claude White and Juanita Jewell (Savage) White.
Ronnie was united in marriage to Patsy Sue Bridges on February 5, 2000, in Viola, Arkansas. He spent his working years as an automotive mechanic and was well known for his exceptional ability to repair anything—from a weedeater to a semi-truck. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Ronnie enjoyed fishing, drag racing, and riding motorcycles. He cherished time spent with his family and especially loved watching his grandchildren grow.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy White of Viola, Arkansas; his son, James Short (Heather) of Viola, Arkansas; his daughter, Amber Campbell (Greg) of Alton, Missouri; and six grandchildren: Jett, Axel, Oaklen, Gwendylyn, Brayleigh, and Ryverlyn. He is also survived by his sister, Irine Hutson (James) of Viola, Arkansas, and his uncle, Elmer Savage of West Plains, Missouri.
He is preceded by his parents, grandparents, and two sisters (Alene Taylor and Lorene Bales).
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday. Interment will follow at Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas.
Honorary pallbearers are Connie Hutson, Dwight Neal, and Vearl Downum. Pallbearers are James Short, Brandon Dupler, Jett Short, Mark Brewer, Bo Dupler, and Clint Brewer.
