Ronnie Lee Williams, a beloved husband, daddy, and papa, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 72.
Ronnie was born in Dublin, Georgia, and was the cherished son of the late John and Dorothy Williams. Ronnie retired from Baldor Electric after more than 30 years of employment. In the evenings, he spent many years working on lawnmowers, a hobby he was passionate about. Ronnie was known for his welcoming spirit and ability to connect with everyone he met. He never met a stranger.
Most importantly, Ronnie's greatest joy in life came from the time spent with his family. When he was in good health, Ronnie was at every event related to his grandchildren, which he affectionately called "my babies." Ronnie always shared that his pride and joy was his family. Although health challenges sometimes kept him away, Ronnie was a Christian, and his faith remained a guiding light in his life, alongside the love he shared with his wife, Pam, whom he cherished deeply. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Chandler and Kathy Rogers.
Ronnie leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his devoted wife, Pam Williams; his loving daughter, Candace Crane, and son-in-law, Casey Crane; three precious grandchildren, Noah, Ciara, and Mason Crane; three caring sisters, Jean Wells, Linda Weaver, and Barbara Greene; and an abundance of nieces and nephews who will carry his memory in their hearts.
We will gather to celebrate Ronnie's life on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens in Danielsville. It will be a time to honor a man whose kindness touched so many. Following the service, we will lay him to rest at Gordon's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers, who hold a special place in Ronnie's life, include Casey Crane, Noah Crane, Brandon Busbin, Steve Hill, Danny Self, and Doyle Green, with Mason Crane as an honorary pallbearer. The family will welcome friends on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home—a time to share memories and celebrate the extraordinary man Ronnie was.
