Rosa Espinosa Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory - Roswell on Mar. 30, 2026.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Rosa F. Espinosa, who passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at the age of 97.

Rosa was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Tobias; her cherished children: Rosila and Rudy; her loving sisters: Jane and Elsie; and her brother Willie. Despite the many losses she endured throughout her life, Rosa remained a pillar of strength, faith and unwavering love to all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Beatrice Davis (Tom), Carol Valdez, and Gilbert Valdez (Angie), and her treasured great-grandchildren: Aliyah, Sophia, and Jace, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her grandson Roy Davis (Tina), Rafael Quinten Espinoza (Angie), and their children, Justis, Nicholas, Alejandro, and Vicky and Rafael. Each held a special place in her heart and were a continued source of joy and pride.

Rosa was deeply loved by her extended family, including her nieces and nephews; Tom Chavez (May) along with their daughter Mahanna; Eleanor Sanchez (Gabe) and their granddaughter Jasinda; Nancy Rivera (Gilbert) and their son Joseph; Joe Lopez (Ana) and their son Joe Joe. Though distance separated many of them, they remained closely connected through daily phone calls, shared photos, and heartfelt prayers, always keeping one another near in spirit.

Rosa found great comfort and companionship in her beloved companions Doug and Amy, who were faithfully by her side and brought her joy throughout the years.

Rosa's family was the center of her world. She will be remembered for her resilience, her gentle spirit, and the warmth and kindness she shared so freely. Her legacy of love, devotion, and strength lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A rosary will be held at Assumption Catholic Church on April 1, at 1:30 PM, followed by Mass at 2:00 PM and a graveside service immediately after. Pallbearers will be Tom Chavez, Joe Lopez, Manuel Gutierrez, Miguel Gutierrez, Jace Valdez, and Gilbert Valdez.

In Lieu of Flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made or that a personal act of kindness be performed in Rosa's memory. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and loving remembered.
