Rosa Garcia Obituary
Rosa Crusita Garcia, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30th, surrounded by the love of her family. Born to Cruz Garcia and Maria Eulojia Lujan (Garcia), Rosa lived a life rooted in prayer, compassion, and devotion to those she loved. Her gentle spirit and unwavering faith touched everyone she met, and her love for prayer was a guiding light that lifted others with her words and kindness.
She cherished her family above all else, always putting their needs before her own. Her happiest moments were spent with her beloved daughter, Annette, sharing laughter, stories, and quiet moments together. Rosa also found joy in life's simple pleasures - coloring on her phone, crocheting beautiful creations, and savoring time with loved ones. These hobbies reflected her creativity, patience, and her gift for making the world a little brighter.
Rosa is survived by her three children, Ray (Marlinda), Annette, and Andrew, one grandson, one granddaughter, and two great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her brother Ernest (Lorraine) Garcia of Roswell, NM, and her sisters Rita Zapata and Celina Archuleta, both of Portales, NM, along with many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers - Victor Garcia, Antonio Garcia, and George Garcia - and two sisters, Teresa Valencia and Mary Alice Lucero.
Rosa will be laid to rest in Portales, NM. Services are pending. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her warmth, faith, and love will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
