Mrs. Rosa Mae Bryant Lee, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She was born on April 13, 1933 in Iva, South Carolina, to the late Sam and Mary Mack Bryant.
Rosa accepted Christ at an early age and her walk with God was steady and sincere. She remained a devoted and faithful member of Cross Road CME Church. She served on the Missionary Society and was a member of the church choir. She also was an Eastern Star. She lived with a quiet grace that uplifted everyone she encountered.
In 1957, she was united in marriage to the late Hubert Lee. Together they built a loving home grounded in faith, family, and hard work. Rosa was a devoted wife and mother whose love was evident in every meal she prepared, every word of encouragement she shared, and every prayer she lifted on behalf of her family. Her passion for cooking became her livelihood and her ministry, nourishing both body and spirit.
To this union, they were blessed with five children: Brenda Gail Rice, Ralph Elbert Lee (Angie), Patricia Anne West, Priscilla Diane Wilkins (Timothy), and Sheryl Yvonne Thompson (Anthony). She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Althea Brock (Mario), Shayron Rice, Brandon Wilkins, Rodrick West (Jasmine), Anterrea Thompson, Darius Wilkins, Shalyn Thompson, Sydney West (Jasmine), and Brooklyn Wilkins. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Ke'asha Jones, Dejah Clinkscales, Pharrah Torbert, Raylee West, Caleb Rice, Jayla West, and Jace West; great-great-grandson Braxton Pruitt. Rosa is survived by her beloved sister, Sarah Harrison, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of love, strength, and support. She leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and many dear friends who will forever remember her kindness, wisdom, and grace.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and by her siblings James Mack, John Bryant, Rebecca Bryant, Jack Bryant, Sophia Ingram, Mary Frances Harrison, Henry Bryant, William Bryant, Johnnie Mae Walton, and Eloise James.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Cross Road C.M.E. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing Saturday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family is at the home of her daughter, Priscilla (Pastor Timothy) Wilkins, 3620 Dobbins Bridge Road, Anderson, SC 29626.
