Rosa Lee Moye

SPANISHBURG – Rosa Lee Moye, 80, of Spanishburg, died Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Born November 3, 1942 in McComas, she was the daughter of the late Garland Hedrick and Roma Wilburn Hedrick.
Mrs. Moye was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Pittsburg Penguins fan. She was an excellent cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Moye; an infant son, Kurt Michael Moye; one grandson, Matthew Kyle Coburn; two brothers, Ronald Lee Hedrick and Roger Hedrick; and one brother-in-law, Michael Triplett.
Survivors include one son, Kent Moye of Spanishburg; one daughter, Kathy Coburn and husband Rich of Ossen, MI; five siblings, Rita Swinehart and husband Edwin of Fort Wayne, IN, Linda Deventer and husband Larry of Huntertown, IN, Jim Hedrick and wife Linda of Fort Wayne, IN, Judy Lawyer and husband Tony of Garrett, IN and Angie Triplett of Churubusco, IN; three grandchildren, Richard Coburn, Michael Moye and Landin Moye; and special friend, Janet Hurst.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made payable to Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. C.T. Lilly officiating. Interment will follow at the Reid Cemetery in Spanishburg.
