Rosa Bell Quicksey, born on January 19, 1931, in Anniston, Alabama, was the daughter of the late Vera Quicksey & Jimmy Quicksey.
Rosa Bell Quicksey passed on peacefully on November 2, 2024. She relocated to Springfield, Massachusetts, where she began her life. Rosa is a very kind and loving & quiet woman she worked most her life in the health care field and with housekeeping companies.
When she was not at work, she was taking care of her three kids. She loved the holidays cooking meals and spending time with her family & grandkid's. In her free time, she enjoyed going to bingo with her good friend Marquita Martin she also enjoyed watching "The Price is Right" show and her stories in the day time.
Rosa was pre-deceased by her three beautiful children Gloria Quicksey, John Quicksey and Felix Pickett, siblings Jimmy Quicksey, Joseph Quicksey, Annie Pearl Hood and Mary Louise Brooks.
She is survived by sister Leila Frances Cosby, grandchildren Lavon Quicksey, Ayesha Holden, Devora Quicksey, Erica Northrop, Todd Mclvery and Terence Mclvery, and her great-grandchildren Zaniyah, Zion, Kalonie, Noah, Gloria, Vera,,John, and the list goes on.
Rosa was known and loved by many. She was a beautiful woman to be around and to love. You will forever be missed and loved by her family, friends and people of her community
