Rosa Maria Rosado

Rosa Maria Rosado, 84, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, in hospice care surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 29, 1941, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, Rosa was the daughter of the late Ramon Rosado and Rosa Morales. In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her husband Juan Rosado, Sr. and her four brothers, Ramon, Nicolas, Octavio and Antonio.

Rosa worked as a seamstress at several factories in Bethlehem before becoming a full-time homemaker. Rosa was known as a devoted mother to her three sons. She was also known as a kind, caring and generous person by her family and friends. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for her family, listening to salsa music, and gathering and dancing with friends at the Puerto Rican Beneficial Society. She also enjoyed playing cards and placing wagers on horse races at the racing tracks with friends.

Rosa is survived by her loving children: Juan Rosado Jr., Jose Rosado and his wife Margarita, and David Rosado and his wife Ana. She also leaves behind three loving grandchildren: Jose Rosado, Jr. and his wife Lauren, Naomi M. Brice and her husband Karim, and Germain S. Rosado and his ex-wife, Danielle. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two sisters, Julia Morales and Alicia Rosado, all of Bethlehem. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday evening, March 4th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Thursday morning March 5th, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM both at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Infancy Catholic Church at 10:00 AM on Thursday. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
