Rosa J. Suprenant

Fiskdale – Rosa J. (Isley) Suprenant, 70, a longtime resident of Fiskdale, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, Sept 25th, after a courageous battle with illness.

She leaves her beloved husband and best friend of 48 years, Joel F. Suprenant; her mother, Hatsuko Isely and her sister, Eiko I. Korner of Leander, TX; her brother, Steven Isley and his wife Linda of Caddo Mills, TX; her cherished nieces, Christina, Miyuki, and Regina; four great-nephews and three great-nieces all of Texas.

Rosa will be dearly missed by her extended family: Michael Suprenant, Cathy Suprenant, Denise (Michael) Clementino, Lisa Remillard and her husband Bruce, Monique Marinelli and her husband John as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

She was pre deceased by her father, Sgt Major James F Isely; her brother-in-law, Master Sgt. Robert E Korner; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Pauline Suprenant and her brother-in-law, Claude Suprenant.

Rosa was born in Okinawa, Japan the daughter of James F. and Hatsuko (Arasaki) Isley. She worked for several years in assembly at Galileo and later as a clean room assembler for Karl Storz in Charlton before retiring.

Lovingly known as Junko to her family, Rosa was a gifted cook and baker. She cherished time spent vacationing at their camp in Maine. She found great joy in tending to her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She loved to go fishing and would often say "Just one more Cast" and loved sharing her "catch" and homegrown produce with family and friends.

A graveside service and burial for Rosa will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2nd, at 11:00am in St. Anne's Cemetery, Arnold Rd., Sturbridge. There are no calling hours.
