Rosabella Azores Guadalupe, age 86, affectionately called "Rosie" by family and friends, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in the presence of her loving family on January 2, 2026 in Orlando, Florida.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren; son Felixon Emmanuel "Phil" and his wife Renee and grandchildren Braden Taylor and King Solomon; son Christopher John "Chris" and his wife Margarita "Bambi", and grandchildren Christopher John Jr., Nicholas Joseph, Victoria Elena and Marco Rafael; son Joseph Anthony "Joey" and his wife Tonya and granddaughters Ava Roseanna, Josie Grace, and Isabella Loren.
Rosie attended Assumption Convent in Makati, Philippines from grade school through college, graduating in 1960 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. After graduation, she worked in the family business in her hometown, San Pablo City, Laguna, then went to the US to pursue further studies at the Southern Methodist University. While at SMU, she was an active member of the Cosmopolitan Club, Newman Club, and the John F. Kennedy presidential campaign.
She returned to the Philippines where she married Engr. Felix "Jun" Guadalupe Jr., P.E. in 1964. They immigrated to the US soon after, living in Dallas,Texas early on until relocating to the Washington, D.C. area for the next 30 years where they raised their three sons. In 1995, the family moved to Florida, where all 9 of their grandchildren were born. Rosie celebrated 59 years of marriage to her beloved husband Jun, prior to his passing in 2023. A loving mother, grandmother, and wife, Rosie was committed to her husband and three sons, staying at home full-time, always focused on caring for her family. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, loved to travel, and made shopping a sport.
Rosie was born in Manila to Fortunata Marasigan Mariño and Antonio Llamado Azores, Sr. She was the third of 14 children, eight (8) of whom are still alive. They are Fortunata "Tania" Azores-Gunter, Ma. Victoria "Marie" Minton, Caridad "Cheri" A. de Gorostiza, Sulpicia "Suzi" M. Azores, Augusto "Tito" M. Azores, Kathryn Jean "Kathy" A. Chan, Roberto "Bobby" M. Azores and Josefina "Tinette" A. Villa. Rosie was predeceased by her parents, and siblings: Annabelle A. Cordon, Adriana "Adring" A. Cordero, Antonio "Tony" Azores Jr., Jess Azores, and William "Bill" Azores.
Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida on January 27th at 11:00AM.
