Rosalie "Rosie" Trujillo Baeza, 82, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Monday, December 1, 2025 at UMC Banner in Tucson, AZ. She was born December 5, 1943 in Dwyer, NM to Santiago Trujillo and Amelia Garcia.

Rosie found her greatest joy in spending time with her family especially when cooking and sharing meals together. She loved watching Western movies, and nothing made her happier than enjoying good food and a movie with her grandchildren. A true fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. Rosie also enjoyed the outdoors spending time camping and fishing whenever she could.

In her early years, Rosie worked at Gila Regional Medical Center as a surgical technologist. She found great joy in cooking and creating lasting memories with her family always making sure everyone was well fed. Rosie especially cherished the time she spent with her great-grandchildren. She loved watching western movies and cheering for her favorite football team. She also enjoyed the outdoors, often going camping and fishing with loved ones.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy T. Baeza Jr. of Silver City; Mark T. Baeza of Silver City; three daughters, Amy Baeza (Tommy) of Silver City; Annette Esqueda and husband John of Las Cruces; Reina Dana Baeza-Sierra and husband Greg of Silver City; seven grandchildren, Carolyn Duarte (Jose), Kimberly McCarthy (Rene), Katlin Gutierrez (Greg), Logan Baeza (Sara), Noah Baeza, Karina Baeza and Cristianna Esqueda; fourteen great grandchildren, A.J., Kamryn, Maddox James, Asher, Delilah, Elias, Nathaniel, Adelyn, Vladimir, Timothy, Bonnie, Devon, Bella, and Logan; three sisters, Reina Serrano of California; Angie Chavez of Safford, Arizona; Gloria Candelaria of T or C, New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmy Baeza (2020); her son, Jimmy Santiago Baeza, three brothers, Martin, Jimmy, and Ray Trujillo; three sisters, Juanita Garcia, Kina Galindo, and Martha Dominguez.

The holy rosary being recited by Fr. Matthew will be Saturday, December 13th at 10 am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. The funeral service will commence at 10:30am with Father Matthew Haynas officiating. Concluding service, the interment will follow at Memory Lane cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Pallbearers are Logan Baeza, Noah Baeza, Mark Baeza, John Esqueda, Greg Sierra, Jimmy Baeza, and Joe Duarte.
