Rosalie Ann Gemellaro

Rosalie Ann (Bruno) Gemellaro, 91, of Beverly, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Herrick House in Beverly. She was surrounded by friends and family. Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Sebastiano and Anna Bruno of Palermo, Sicily, Italy. She was the loving wife of the late Louis Gemellaro of Methuen with whom she shared 25 years before his passing.
Rosalie received her degree in Elementary Education from State Teachers College in Boston. She taught elementary education in the Saugus Public School system for over 30 years. In her younger years, Rosalie loved playing golf, tennis, and travelling with her husband Louis. Rosalie loved her two grandchildren and four great grandchildren with all her heart.
Rosalie is survived by her sons, Gregory Ames, and partner Barbara Smith of Beverly; Geoffrey Ames of Danvers; daughter-in-law Nancy Ames of Beverly; brother, Arthur Bruno and wife Mary of Beverly; grandchildren Todd Ames and wife Lydia and great grandchildren Lilliana Ames and Gabriel Ames of Beverly; Brad Ames and wife Melissa and great grandchildren Connor Ames and Zoe Ames of Woburn; dearest friend Peggy Bolduc of Methuen; her many beloved cats and dogs.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis Gemellaro, siblings John Bruno and Mario Bruno.
