Rosalie J. Melani

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Rosalie J. (Zukowski) Melani, age 87, of Pleasant Hills, passed away with family by her side. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Richard F. "Buzzy" Melani; loving mother of Richard P. (Diane) Melani and Ronald F. (the late Denise) Melani; loving grandma of Tommy (Nikki), Benjamin (Andrea), Dominic (Carly), Noelle (Justin Smith) and Tiffany; great-grandmother of Roman, Angelo, Kaileigh, Avery and Colton; sister of Frannie Beddard and the late Anna Mae and Walter Zukowski; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rosalie was proud of her accounting work with various international corporations. She earned her degree later in life and had an illustrious career spanning almost 30 years. Friends received Monday, November 3rd from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.) South Park Twp. (412) 655-4600. Funeral prayer Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish - Nativity Church at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalie's name may be made to the American Cancer Society – Pittsburgh, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
