Rosalie Stasel

Rosalie Stasel nee Caffarelli. Age 87. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident and devoted member of San Rocco Parish. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday November 14, 2025. Proud graduate of Mt. Carmel Grade School class of 1952 and Bloom Township High School class of 1956. She was a woman with a kind and generous heart who touched the lives of many. Rosalie often told people that she was placed on this earth to cook, clean and take care of her family, a role she embraced with unwavering devotion. Beloved wife of Lawrence "Larry" Stasel for 67 wonderful years. Devoted and cherished mother of Rosalie DiGiulio, Ann Marie (Mark) D'Apice and Jackie Reitz. Adoring "Mina" of Nick (Crystal) DiGiulio, Mark D'Apice, Michael DiGiulio, Alyssa (Chris) Harrell, Larry DiGiulio, Gino (Stephani) DiGiulio, Jaime (Jake McFadden) Reitz and Brandon (Taryn) Reitz. Great "Mina" of Gloria DiGiulio, and Birdie and Beau Harrell. Daughter of the late Virginia nee Bruno and Gerard Caffarelli. Sister of Virginia "Ginny" (Alvin) Rodrigue, Regetta "Ricki" (Jimmy) Goodwin, Vera (Joe) DiMaggio and the late Mary (late James) Jurjevic and the late Peter Caffarelli. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cousin and friend of many.
