Rosalind M. Montuori

Miss Rosalind M. Montuori, 80, of Prospect, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Sunday February 22, 2026 with her longtime close friend and loyal caregiver, Maria Dequeiroz, by her side.

Rosalind was born in Waterbury on October 6, 1945, daughter of the late Michael and Lucille "Lucy" (Nardozzi) Montuori. Rosalind was raised in a very close knit family. She worked community service at a redemption center on South Main Street in Waterbury. She enjoyed spending time with her family here in Connecticut and in Davenport, FL. She was truly blessed to have her caretaker Maria look out for her and her family over the years. She enjoyed clothes shopping, dancing and anything to do with Disney.

She is survived by Maria and Maria's sons, Patrick Vicente of Waterbury and Leonardo Dequeiroz of Prospect. Besides her parents, Mike and Lucy, Rosalind was predeceased by her brother, Paul Montuori, and her sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Robert DeLuca.

Arrangements: Rosalind's funeral will be Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury to Our Lady of Fatima Church 2071 Baldwin Street Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday prior to church from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
