It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosanna (Picard) Kloss, who died on February 14, 2025, just 17 days after the passing of her beloved husband, Donald E. Kloss Jr. Born on November 10, 1934, in Springfield, MA, to the late Albert and Rosanna (Devlin) Picard. After losing her father at an early age, Joseph Pepe became the only father Rosanna remembered. She was raised in Springfield and graduated from high school. While caring for her children, Rosanna achieved her license in hairdressing. She loved family vacations to the beach and Disney World. She enjoyed playing cards weekly with her husband and their friends, Jan and Ted. Rosanna enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
Rosanna is survived by her children, Donald Kloss III and his wife Linda, and Donna Riggs and her husband Glenn. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Adam Rodrigues and his wife Gina Pioggia, Austin Rodrigues and his wife Sue Smith, Jessica Burroughs, Laura Kloss, Amy Kloss, Steven Kloss and his wife Emma, Stephanie Hendrix, and Amanda Metras and her husband Derrick. Additionally, she was a proud great-grandmother to Simone, Aidan, Wyatt, Daisy, Isabella Rose, Gavin, Connor, Chloe, and Owen.
She is also survived by her brothers James and Russell Pepe and Ernie Picard, her sisters-in-law Bonnie Kloss and Rosemary Kloss, Lucille Rutz and her husband Donald, and Linette Nungesser Taylor and by her son-in-law Kevin Coughlin, as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Rosanna was predeceased by her loving husband Donald E. Kloss Jr. and her daughter Deb Coughlin as well as her siblings Charlie and Joseph Pepe, Joanne Tracy and Albert Picard.
Family and friends are invited to gather in Rosanna's memory on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation, 220 N Main St., East Longmeadow, MA. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 PM. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
In honor of Rosanna's legacy, we will remember her as a kind and loving soul, whose heart and spirit will forever be a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
