Rosario Bujanda MARIOTTI

Rosario Bujanda Mariotti ("Rosie"), age 85, of Hunt Valley, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. Born in El Paso, Texas, she spent most of her life in Maryland, where she was known for her kindness, humor, and devotion to her family. She was a loving mother whose greatest joy came from caring for and being connected to those she loved.

She is survived by her children, Christopher Carrasco and Cynthia Carrasco Shapiro; her daughter-in-law, Enola Gay; and her grandson, Christopher Carrasco Jr. She is also survived by her first husband, Richard Carrasco. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Julio Mariotti.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her sweetness, her great sense of humor, her cooking, elegant beauty, and the love she shared with her children, family, extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at the family-owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road, (at Overbrook) on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, where family and friends may pay their respects. A Memorial Service will be held next year at a later date.
